SARAJEVO: THREE-DAY SEMINAR "HOW TO START AND REGISTER YOUR OWN BUSINESS AND CREATE A BUSINESS PLAN"

SARAJEVO, March 11 2010

Today, the second day of a three-day seminar titled "How to start and register your own business and create a business plan", lecturer, doctor of economic sciences Almir Peštek, assistant professor at the Faculty of Economics in Sarajevo and the deputy director of the Institute of Economics Sarajevo, will talk about the importance of work planning, the elements of marketing, the management of production, placing products on the market and on the funding sources and taxes.

The seminar is taking place in Sarajevo in the premises of the Center for support of business, and is designed for young unemployed people and those who have ideas for starting their own business.

The seminar was organized in cooperation with the OSCE Mission in BiH -Sarajevo Office, Business Center at the Center Municipality and Employment Agency of the Sarajevo Canton (SK).

During the three-day education, young people between 18 and 35 years, will be introduced with the basics of marketing, microeconomics, banking, and then business plan creating process.

As Municipality Centar Sarajevo informed yesterday, tomorrow, at the last day of seminar, dr. Peštek will present to the young people how to create and present the business plan.

Predrag Slomovic, advisor in the Department of Economics and Finance at the Centar Municipality, said that this seminar is just one of many activities of the Center to support the business with the aim of educating the young people, and help them to get employed or to start their own business.
